Hello..
My name is Steve Cockell and welcome to my coaching website..
Per4mance Coaching..
With over 40 years of experience playing and coaching tennis as well as competing to a high level at many other sports, my coaching service aims to help players improve and reach their potential. I am here to pass on my experience to both young aspiring young players and established adult players alike with proven methods that help develop the skill and the will to be successful in competitive sports.
ABOUT ME
I founded Per4mance Coaching in 2024 but I have been a tennis coach for 30 years and playing sport competitively for almost 40 years. My experience has included playing in the US at college on a tennis scholarship, playing tennis for my county at all levels, and playing county level golf, cricket and football in this time.
My experience in all of these sports has given me a unique perspective of competitive sport and what it takes to develop potential in these areas for young athletes. It also allows me to provide advice to parents and schools about their programmes and what steps to take to develop talent in specific ways.

TENNIS SERVICES
Per4mance Coaching offers services to players, parents and schools in tennis in particular. Steve's high level of play and experience as a coach offers players a chance to learn how to develop their game across key areas including technical skills, tactical awareness, specialist physical work in strength and conditioning, and mental skills training.

Per4mance Coaching offers more than just a coaching service for players. Alongside our services for tennis coaching services, I work closely with local schools and clubs to deliver a services that helps develop programmes, run weekly clubs and offer matchplay events. This year there is also a new holiday service that will be launched for adult players to join the programme and develop their performance skills.
